Do I need to sign up?

Requesting deals, using deals and commenting on deals requires absolutely no sign up. However, if you want to answer deal requests and upload coupons, you must first register an account; this step is necessary so we can pay you when people start using your deals! Other perks of registering include Requested Deals tracking, a personalized Account Dashboard, automatic enrollment in our Rewards Program and more! Registering an account is free and takes less than 30 seconds!

How can I update my account or change my password?

In order to update your account or change your password, you must first be logged in. Once you are logged in, follow the link on the top right-hand corner of each page to your Account Dashboard. Once there, click Account Information where you will be able to review and edit your information.

How can I change my avatar?

To change your avatar, log in to your account and follow the link to your Account Dashboard (this link is at the top right-hand corner of each page). Underneath your current avatar, there will be a link to change your avatar.

How do I request a deal?

Follow the link to Request a Deal. You will be asked to enter a few details about your request. Once you request the deal, our vast community will be hunting down the best deal for you! No registration is required.

What are some tips for requesting deals?

A good deal request should have a thorough title which briefly summarizes your request. You should also include additional detail that will help our deal hunters find you the best deal. Finally, if you want our deal hunters to beat a specific price point, you can specify a price to beat so that you don't end up with deal answers that you can already match yourself.

What does it mean to add a request?

If you see a deal request that you are interested in, click "Add a Request". This request will become more popular and is more likely to be answered more quickly and with a better deal. Also, if you are logged in, the request will be saved to your Watching Panel.

How do I change my Email Preferences?

Login to your account and go to your Account Dashboard. Select Requested Deals. From there you will see a link to change your preferences.

How do I answer a deal request?

Answering a deal request is easy! Search or browse deal requests from our users, and once you find one you have a good deal for, click "add an answer for this deal". You will then be asked to input a few details about the deal. Once you complete the form, your deal will be posted and you can start earning!

How do I upload a coupon or deal?

First, please see if there is a deal request for the deal or coupon you want to upload. If so, answer that deal instead of using the upload option. This will ensure your deal gets maximum exposure and the most uses. If there is no active deal request, you can request a deal, and then answer it yourself. If you just wish to upload a coupon or deal separately, click "Submit a Deal" at the top of any page and follow the instructions.

What are some tips for sharing deals?

The best deals have longer, more complete titles and also have additional detail to help someone use the deal. Be sure to enter in an expiration date if one is known, and to enter the code exactly as it is to be entered at the checkout page. Finally, it is critical that you enter the store name in the same format that it is required by DealBandy.com. Failure to do so is the number one reason deal hunters miss out on commissions.

What does it mean to flag a request, deal or comment?

DealBandy.com makes every attempt to moderate the requests, answers and comments that are posted to the site. However, if we have overlooked inappropriate content, please click the red flag to "flag" the content. We will review the content and remove or ammend it as necessary.

How do I earn money at DealBandy.com?

Simply answer a deal request or upload a coupon or deal for an eligible store. When your deal or coupon is used properly by a guest, you will earn commission for sharing your deal!

When will I get paid?

Once your "Real Earnings" reaches your desired threshold, your Earnings Statement will be reviewed and processed, and you will then receive payment by check or through PayPal within fifteen (15) days. In circumstances where your payment or processing is delayed, you will be notified.

What is the difference between "Potential" and "Real" Earnings?

"Potential Earnings" are the commissions that you have earned, but have not yet been finalized. This indicates that someone has used your deal, but they can still return the item within the store's return policy. After a period of thirty (30) days, "Potential Earnings" will become "Real Earnings" if the order generating the commissions has not been amended or cancelled. Some orders may be cancelled, which will result in potential earnings being lost. This is a rare occurrence.

How much will I get paid for adding a deal?

Commission rates for each store - and even for different products in the same store - vary. Commission rates for most stores range from 2-5%, though some stores have commission rates as high as 20-50%. Not all stores offer commissions, and a deal must be properly used by the guest in order for you to be paid.

How can I tell if a store is eligible for commissions?

Please check the Stores List to see if a specific store is eligible for commissions.

How come not all stores are eligible for commissions?

Many stores offer commissions but not all. Most of the stores that do not offer commissions are not part of an affiliate marketing program.

What is the Rewards Program?

The Rewards Program is another way to earn credit for sharing your deals and requests. Because not all stores offer commissions, we wanted another way to incent members who add deals. By adding valuable deals and by contributing popular requests, you have the opportunity to earn points. Points can then be redeemed for higher commissions, special perks and more!

How do I sign up for the Rewards Program?
